The Implementation of the Emergency Stopgap USCIS Stabilization Act was published in the Federal Register on March 30, 2022, as a measure by USCIS to address the long wait times and backlogs faced by immigration applicants, as well as to increase revenues to cover the rising cost of immigration services. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) premium processing rules, announced on March 29, 2022, go into effect on and start rolling out on June 1.
